You’re now halfway through Svava Sigbertsdottir’s 30-day fat-burning home workout challenge! Day 16 requires no equipment, so let’s jump right in.
Today, you’ll be doing sumo squats, high planks into downward dog, and side planks. These movements will make you sweat and challenge your core. According to Svava, controlling each movement helps you feel the burn, build strength, and increase stamina. It’s supposed to be tough because that’s how you get a toned body.
When you start to feel tired, focus on opening your chest instead of leaning forward. This helps maintain your breathing and keeps your energy up.
You’ve got this—keep moving for the entire 10 minutes with five moves in two sets. Do each move for 40 seconds and then rest for 20 seconds. Repeat the routine one more time.
Keep going with the challenge for the rest of the month to see the full benefits!
