You’ve made it halfway through Svava Sigbertsdottir’s 30-day fat-burning home workout challenge! For Day 16, no equipment is needed, so let’s dive right in.

Today’s workout includes sumo squats, high planks into downward dog, and side planks. These movements are designed to get your heart rate up and make you sweat. The key is to control each movement to really feel the burn in your core, which helps in building strength and stamina. If it’s too easy, your core won’t engage as much, and you won’t see the results you want. So challenge yourself to get that toned body!

When you start to get tired, remember to keep your chest open and breathe deeply instead of hunching over. This will help you maintain better breathing and keep your energy up.

You can do this—just keep moving. The workout includes 10 minutes of exercise, with five different moves done in two sets. Perform each move for 40 seconds, followed by a 20-second rest. Repeat the cycle one more time to complete your session.
